Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, e-mail address, the topic you choose and your message. Messages are e-mailed to the site team and stored privately in the website’s admin area so that we can reply.
- Comments: your name, e-mail address and comment. Your e-mail address is never published. As on most WordPress sites, the comment system also records your IP address and browser details to help detect spam.
Information collected automatically
- Spam protection: to limit repeated submissions, the contact and comment forms keep a one-way hashed version of your IP address for up to one hour.
- Practice progress: your quiz score and answered questions are stored only in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us, and you can clear them at any time by clearing your browser data.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and performance.

- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the ads you see may be less relevant.
How we use information

How long we keep it
Contact messages and comments are kept until they are no longer needed or until you ask us to delete them. Hashed IP addresses used for spam protection expire after one hour.
