Editorial Policy

This page explains how MCQs360 writes its questions, checks the answers and corrects mistakes, so you know how much you can rely on what you practise.

Original questions

Every question on MCQs360 is written in our own words, with its own set of options and its own explanation. We do not copy questions from other websites or books. Facts themselves belong to everyone, so a question may test a fact that also appears elsewhere, but the wording, option order and explanation on MCQs360 are our own.

How answers are checked

  • Each answer is checked against standard textbooks, official publications and other reliable reference sources for the subject.
  • Where a stored answer was found to be wrong, it was corrected; more than 670 answers were fixed during our 2026 review of the whole question bank.
  • Questions that cannot be answered reliably, for example because a figure or passage is missing or no option is correct, are removed rather than left online.
  • Duplicate questions are merged into one page so that each question has a single, checked version.

Use of software tools

We use software tools, including AI writing and research tools, to help draft question wording and explanations and to flag answers that need checking. Tools speed up the work; they do not replace checking. Every change is validated before it is published, and corrections from readers are reviewed individually.

Dates and time-sensitive questions

Each question page shows the date its answer was last checked, and each topic page shows when its notes were last reviewed. Current affairs questions are dated “as of” a month and year, and the whole Current Affairs section is reviewed every three months so that office holders, records and recent events stay correct. Questions about past events, such as an earlier general election, are kept in the relevant subject and always name the year.

Corrections

If you think an answer is wrong, press Report a problem on the question page or use the contact form. Please tell us what looks wrong and, if you can, where you read the correct fact. We check every report; when a correction is needed we update the question, its explanation and its “Answer checked” date.

Independence

MCQs360 is not affiliated with any examination body or public service commission. Questions are practice material in the style of these exams, not official papers. Advertising does not influence which questions we publish or how answers are written.
