About PPSC MCQs
PPSC conducts written tests for a wide range of provincial posts, including lecturers, inspectors, assistants and tehsildars. Most papers are objective MCQ tests, and the general ability portion usually draws on Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, general knowledge, current affairs, English, Urdu, everyday science, basic computer studies and simple mathematics. Some posts also include questions on the candidate's professional subject, so the exact balance depends on the advertisement. Shortlisted candidates then go on to an interview.
The subject cards on this page match those general ability areas. Start with Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies and General Knowledge, which make up a large share of most papers, then add Current Affairs for recent appointments and events. Practise English and Urdu for grammar and vocabulary, and use Aptitude (Maths) and Reasoning to build speed with numbers. Work through one subject at a time, note the questions you miss, and revisit them before moving on.
